Did Fifth Harmony’s Lauren Jauregui Just Shade Camila Cabello?
Despite what they say, there still seems to be bad blood between Camila Cabello and her old girl group, Fifth Harmony.
Just a day after the “Bad Things” singer, who separated from the band late last year after more than four years together, appeared on the cover of Seventeen magazine talking about the messy split, her former bandmate, Lauren Jauregui, tweeted something that seemingly shaded the 19-year-old’s solo career.
“Fake that confidence bih,” the “Work From Home” songstress wrote in what appeared to be a sassy subtweet. “One day it’ll be real.”
Many fans speculated that the note was meant for Cabello, who recently revealed it was imperative for her to leave Fifth Harmony in order to express herself properly.
“Fifth Harmony wasn’t the maximum expression of me individually,” she told Seventeen. “My fans are really going to know me from the music I’m writing. My goal is to be brave and open up my soul.”
In the same article, Cabello also claimed she has nothing but love for the remaining members, saying, “I’ll continue to wish them all the best, and I’m happy they are continuing their journey as Fifth Harmony. I’m also looking forward to hearing new music from the group and their solo endeavors.”
