Kendrick Lamar to produce the soundtrack for Marvels 'Black Panther'

With 2018 well under way it is safe to say the movie line up this year is insane!

One movie we can not wait for is Marvels 'Black Panther'. Set after the events of Captain America: Civil War, King T’Challa returns home to Wakanda only to find two enemies waiting for him.

What's even better is Kendrick Lamar is working with Anthony Tiffith to curate and produce Black Panther: The Album, in close collaboration with Black Panther director Ryan Coogler. He has also just released the first single for the movie teaming up with SZA called 'All Stars'.

The press release additionally notes that Black Panther will be the first Marvel Cinematic Universe release to feature multiple original songs created just for the film, so today's "All The Stars" is just the start of it.

Lamar and Black Panther sound like a match made in pop culture heaven. And if that first song is any indication, we're gonna be playing this album on repeat for the rest of the year.

Black Panther hits theaters Feb. 16.
