Already a controversial figure, rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine is facing 6 charges. One of which is discharging a firearm while committing a crime which could see him sent to jail serving a life sentence and a mandatory minimum of 25 years in prison.

A courtroom sketch shows Tekashi in handcuffs.

Tekashi who's real name is Daniel Hernandez, has been accused of being part of the violent New York City gang Nine Trey. It's said that the rapper and his accomplices used violence to protect the gang's drug business, retaliate against rival gangs or promote Nine Trey's rep on the streets.
