Gillette release new viral ad taking on masculinity and receive mixed feedback

Gillette have released a new ad taking on the idea of masculinity and have received mixed reaction in the process. Over the last few years and mostly 2018 we saw the idea of stereotypical masculinity challenged by many different people and the 'me too' movement.

Some people aren't too happy about this new ad from Gillette as on YouTube the video has over 370,000 dislikes and just 100,000 likes.

"Bullying. Harassment. Is this the best a man can get? It's only by challenging ourselves to do more, that we can get closer to our best. To say the right thing, to act the right way. We are taking action."

In the ad it features actor Terry Crews speaking on the 'Me Too' movement saying "men need to be holding other men accountable for what they say."
