Study finds women are officially better drivers than men
It's been a joke for many years that men are better drivers but now thanks to a new study that rumor has been put to rest.
The new study was conducted to see whether men or woman were the better drivers and it looked at some in depth stats on insurance, crime and driving test. The deep dive was to analyse which sex was the better driver, and women came out on top in almost every area.
According to the research conducted by price comparison site Confused.com, women take slightly longer when it comes to learning to drive, but less females commit motor offences when they go on to pass their test, as well as being far less likely to be involved in an accident and therefore cost insurers less when they make claims.
Men were found to outnumber women five to one when it came to drink-driving offences, and two to one for driving without tax or insurance. The study also revealed men dominate the board when looking at the most common driving offences
