Obamas shares his top music picks for 2020, via his annual Spotify playlist.
He admitted that this year that he had some assistance creating this list from his youngest daughter Sasha (19).
Obama tweeted "Here are some of my favorite songs of the year. As usual, I had some valuable consultation from our family music guru, Sasha, to put this together. I hope you find a new song or two to listen to."
High on Obama’s list is the remix of “Savage” featuring his mate Beyonce. Next up is a song by fellow Chicagoan, Jeff Tweedy. Obama’s picks spanned across genres, touching on everything from modern American country to Afro-Colombian EDM. Some of the songs Obama selected, like “Kyoto” by Phoebe Bridgers and “Can’t Do Much” by Waxahatchee, have shown up on a number of end-of-year lists, while others are less familiar selections. Dua Lipa, Bruce Springsteen, J. Cole, H.E.R., Mac Miller, and Travis Scott also made the cut.
